The Nuhanović Foundation has been founded. The goal of the foundation is to provide war victims with access to legal remedies and the law. Hans van de Weerd (chairman), Heikelien Verrijn Stuart, Peter van der Auweraert, Mieke Zagt and Carla Ferstman are on the board.
The Nuhanović Foundation was founded on the initiative of Liesbeth Zegveld and was named after the family of her client Hasan Nuhanović, surviving relative of Srebrenica.
